Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Camping
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has Motorhome/RV spaces throughout the facility and a campground available for tent camping and/or non-self contained units. We also offer Reserved Motorhome/RV spaces for select events. A Weekend General Admission ticket is required along with a Camping or Motorhome Pass. One of the finest facilities of its kind, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course offers exceptional amenities that put you comfortably close to the action in a fan and family-friendly environment.
Several concession stands are located conveniently throughout the facility. The main concession stands are located in the Paddock and Infield areas. Both offer a diverse menu. As a plus, the Infield concession stand also offers patio seating with a great view of the racetrack. Ice is available at most concession stands and at the entrance to the Camping Area.
Souvenir Stands are located in the Paddock area and in the Infield. The stands offer a full-line of official Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course merchandise, including event T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and many other souvenir items. Guests also can visit the Manufacturers Midway in the Infield, where visiting vendors offer a wide variety of souvenir items.
Permanent Restrooms are located in the Paddock area and in the Infield. Portable restrooms are conveniently located throughout the facility.
Handicap parking is available in the infield and along the Boulevard near the drive over bridge. For more information contact a Mid-Ohio representative for assistance.
A permanent electronic scoreboard is located high above Turn 1 and the Esses for spectator reference.
Guest Shuttle Service is available during all spectator events and runs throughout the facility. Shuttle stops are located in most well-traveled areas around the track
A full service race support shop located between the Middle and Lower Paddock.
ATMs are located in The Mid-Ohio School Booth in the Lower Paddock area and during select events, in the Infield.
Lost and Found
Any items that are located during the events, these may be turned in to any credentialed Mid-Ohio Staff Member. Lost and Found is located in the Ticket Office at Gate 2, contact (419) 884-4000 ext. 3012

The Dan McNutt Medical Facility is located just east of the drive-over bridge heading into the infield.
Showers are available for our guests and are located on the west side of the Maintenance Facility Portable showers are available in the tent camping area during select events.

With a limited number of camping spaces available at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, walk-ups during event weekends will not be guaranteed. We strongly urge you to order camping passes and weekend tickets for these events in advance, as these events may sell out of camping:

From Cleveland, Ohio:Take I-71 south to U.S. 30. Go west on U.S. 30 to Fourth St./Crestline exit. Turn left at end of exit ramp and proceed to stop light. At stop light turn right and then veer right onto St. Rt. 314. Go approximately 7 miles and turn left on Steam Corners Rd. Mid-Ohio is one mile on the left. Approx. Travel Time: 1 hour, 20 minutes
Take I-71 S. Take exit 165 for OH-97 toward Lexington/Bellville. Turn right at OH-97/OH 97 W. Turn left at E Main St/ US-42 and continue to follow E. Main St. Turn left at Lexington Steam Corners Rd. Mid-Ohio is 2 miles on the right. Approx. Travel Time: 1 hour, 36 minutes.
From Columbus, Ohio:Take I-71 north to St.Rt. 95 east. Turn right off the ramp and follow St.Rt. 95 for 2 miles and turn left (north) on St.Rt. 314 for 15 miles. Turn right on Steam Corners Rd. Mid-Ohio is one mile on the left. Approx. Travel Time: 1 hour
Take 1-71 N towards Cleveland. Take exit 165 for OH-97 toward Lexington/Bellville. Turn left at OH-97/OH 97 W. Turn left at E Main St/US-42 and continue to follow E. Main St. Turn left at Lexington Steam Corners Rd. Mid-Ohio is two miles on the right. Approx. Travel Time: 1 hour

From Fort Wayne, Indiana:Take U.S. 30 east to Fourth St./Crestline exit. Turn right at end of exit ramp and proceed to stop light. At stop light turn right and then veer right onto St. Rt. 314. From Detroit/Toledo, Ohio:Take I-75 South to Route 15 E/US-68 S toward US-23/Columbus/Kenton. Continue on US-23 S. Slight right at US-30 E (signs for Bucyrus/Mansfield/US-30 E). Stay on Route 30 E to Fourth St./Crestline exit. Turn right at end of exit ramp and proceed to stop light. At stop light turn right and then veer right onto State Route 314. Go approximately seven miles and turn left on Steam Corners Road. Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is one mile on the left. Approx. Travel Time: 2 ½ - 3 hours.

Here are answers to a number of the common questions asked by our guests.
Q: Can we picnic at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course?
A: Yes, you can bring coolers and food to the track. Mid-Ohio recommends bringing plastic and aluminum to the tracks. Glass bottles are not allowed in Paddock Areas. Plastic, aluminum, tin, etc. containers are acceptable. Grilling is permitted only in camping and infield areas, and all grill fires must be extinguished immediately afterward, then drowned or smothered.
Q: Do children need a ticket to enter Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course?
A: Children 12 and under are admitted free accompanied by a ticketed/credentialed adult. However, if you wish to sit in the grandstand during select events, children will need a grandstand ticket.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Typically events will continue even if it's raining or threatening rain. In certain instances races may be delayed, however it is very rare that an entire event is canceled due to inclement weather.
Q: What phone number do I call if I need emergency assistance?

Q: Do I need to keep my ticket/pass on me at all times?
A: Yes, you do. To gain entry to all the areas your ticket grants you access to, we ask that you keep it with you at all times, even if you have a paddock access wristband. This is done to protect the investment of fans and ensure each of them accesses the areas they should. Tickets WILL be scanned upon entry AND must be scanned upon exit if you are planning to return the same day. If you fail to have your tickets scanned upon exiting, you WILL BE REQUIRED to purchase a new ticket at this time.
Q: Are there any airports to fly into that are close to the track?
A: Since the track is located in between two large cities, you can use either Cleveland Hopkins International Airport or Port Columbus International Airport. For small planes, Mansfield Lahm Airport is an option.
Q: Can I bring my pet to the races?
A: No pets of any kind (outside of service animals) are permitted at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Animal kennel and boarding facilities are located near the racetrack. Call Cedar Creek Kennel at (419) 886-4030 or Mohican Boarding Kennel at (419) 884-7387 for more information or to make a reservation.
Q: Can I listen to the races while I'm at the track?
A: Yes, 90.3 FM carries audio from our public address system during spectator events throughout the season.
Q: How do I get to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course?
A: A map and directions to the track are found on the directions page of this site . For GPS or online mapping directions, enter 7721 Steam Corners Road (also called County Road 37), Lexington, Ohio 44904 as your final destination address.
Q: What time does the track open on race weekends?
A: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course opens its gates at 7:00 am each day of a scheduled race weekend. All spectators must be off the premises by 7:00 pm or within an hour of the last scheduled event of each day. Campers can stay until 10:00 am the following morning after The Honda Indy 200®, Verizon Indy Car Series and The Mid-Ohio Challenge, NASCAR Xfinity Series events.
Q: How much will I pay for parking?
A: Plenty of free parking is available on site at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. If you prefer, there are a limited number of Infield Parking Passes that may be purchased for the The Honda Indy® 200 at Mid-Ohio and/or The Mid-Ohio Challenge, NASCAR Xfinity Series. Motorcycles are permitted in the infield without a pass at all events. Infield Parking Passes require the purchase of a spectator ticket and will not be sold as stand-alone items. Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course reserves the right to close the infield, without notice, as deemed necessary.
Q: Is there camping available on site?
A: Yes. Weekend camping passes are available; a weekend admission ticket is required along with a camping pass.
On event weekends, Season Ticket Holders who are camping may enter the facility on Thursday at 9:00 am. All other campers may enter Thursday after 4:00 pm. Campers must depart by 7:00 pm on Sunday for Vintage Grand Prix and Vintage Motorcycle Days. Campers are encouraged to stay until 10:00 am on the day following The Honda Indy 200® and The Mid-Ohio Challenge, NASCAR Xfinity Series events. Camping spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless a reserved motorhome/RV space is purchased. Tent camping areas measure approximately 40'x25'; motorhome/RV dimensions vary. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 6:30 AM. Click here for a complete list of camping rules and regulations.
Q: Is there a camping option for my family?
A: Yes, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course offers Family Camping, located in front of the regular camp ground area. This area is ideal for those with children looking for a quieter stay during the race weekend. A weekend admission ticket is required along with a Family Camping Pass.
Q: What hook-ups are available to campers?
A: There are no water or electrical hook-ups, but there are dump stations available for campers.
Q: Can I bring my bicycle?Q: Where is the lost and found?
A: Bicycles are allowed at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, however, may not be used in Paddock Area. Personal golf carts and off-road vehicles are also allowed but require the purchase of a vehicle pass for $100.
A: Items that are lost or found may be retrieved or dropped off at Lost and Found at the track's Security Headquarters, located at Gate 3 or call (419) 884-4000 extension 3013.
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course encompasses 330 acres and golf cart rentals are available on-site to assist you in traversing the facility! Reserve your gof cart by contacting the Golf Car Company at 800-589-8833 or www.golfcarcompany.com. The rental booth is the second building on the right as you head north down the Boulevard past the Security Building.
Personal golf carts (those not rented by the Golf Car Company, LLC) and other off-road vehicles must display a Vehicle Pass which is purchased for $100 from Mid-Oho Sports Car Course. Passes are valid only for the event indicated on the pass. Vehicle passes are free with proper verification/identification for handicap customers (Pass only - golf cart/vehicle not included).
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and the Golf Car Company, LLC are not responsible for injuries sustained to the driver, their passengers or any bystanders in the event of an accident.
Rules for Golf Cart/Off-Road Vehicle Usage
Reserved Handicap Parking is available in the infield and along the Boulevard near the drive over bridge. An infield parking pass is not required for customers with a handicap placard. A Mid-Ohio staff member will be available if you need assistance.
Wheelchair accessible seating is available at the Infield Souvenir and Food Stand patio.
Personal golf carts in use by guests with disabilities must display a vehicle pass. The pass is available at no charge for cutomers presenting proper verification/identification. (Pass Only - golf cart/vehicle not included). Passes can be picked up in the Call Center/Ticket office at gate 2.

To ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable visit to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the following rules and regulations have been instituted for all events at the facility:
Failure to abide by these rules may result in a non-refundable expulsion from the premises.
A GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET includes admission to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and walking access to all areas with the following exceptions: Paddock access must have paddock pass for certain events, no access to pit lane, you must have a weekend pass and camping pass for campground access, infield parking pass required to drive into the infield area for certain events, grandstand ticket required for grandstand seating for certain events.
A GRANDSTAND TICKET includes general admission, as well as a reserved seat in the grandstands located in The Esses. A limited amount of tickets are available for each event. Children 12 and under must have a grandstand ticket to enter the grandstand.
A PADDOCK PASS grants admittance into the garage and paddock area*, but does not include an admission ticket. An admission ticket is required in order to purchase a Paddock Pass. A Paddock Pass is required for any Fan Walks or other opportunities to get into the pit or grid area during permitted times. In recent years, race series have placed an even stronger emphasis on the safety of competitors as well as fans. As a result, Pit Lane is not as accessible as it has been in the past. We want fans to have a great time, but our top priority is safety.
*Access to Pit Lane is very limited. In the interest of safety, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and the various sanctioning bodies reserve the right to alter Pit Lane access at any time. If open during any on track sessions (practices, warm-ups and/or qualifying), pants, closed-toed shoes and an over-the-shoulder shirt must be worn in Pit Lane. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter Pit Lane during an on track session. Children under 18 are not permitted in Pit Lane during on track sessions.
CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER are admitted free onto the grounds and into the paddock areas when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with proper ticket/credential.
There is an option to purchase a spot in the secluded FAMILY CAMPING AREA. Please be sure to request this location when ordering your weekend camping pass on the phone, or select this option online.
WILL CALL TICKETS must be picked up at Gate #2. After hours, Will Call tickets may be picked up at Gate #3. A photo ID and signature of purchaser are required at time of order pick-up for all Will Call tickets. All Canadian and International orders will be held at Will Call. Will Call opens at 7 am at Gate 2 on the Friday of each event weekend.
ALL CANADIAN ORDERS, excluding VIP Race Passes, will be available through Will Call only.
An $8.99 PROCESSING FEE is added to all ticket orders.
VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS or DISCOVER purchases at the track office must be made at Gate 2 by 5 pm during race weekends. After 5 pm, credit card purchases can be made at Gate 3.
A limited number of INFIELD PARKING passes are available for the Honda Indy® 200 at Mid-Ohio and The Mid-Ohio Challenge, NASCAR Xfinity Series. Infield parking for these events is included with a VIP Race Pass. Infield parking passes are not required for motorcycles. Infield parking passes must be purchased with a general admission ticket to the event. Infield parking is free during the Vintage Grand Prix and the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days.
ALL DAY PARKING at Mid-Ohio is free in the general parking area. Please be aware that outbound traffic at the conclusion of the events will utilize both the incoming and outgoing Boulevard lanes that filled the facility. Please ensure you follow your desired route at the appropriate time by reading the signs and through the instruction of traffic marshals and law enforcement officers. Eventually, each outbound lane will result in a 'no choice' exit pattern. All outbound traffic patterns will lead to an interstate where you will have your choice of directions.
There are several gates providing entrance to the track. Gates 1, 2 and 3 all are located off Steam Corners Road on the south side of the facility. Gate 1 is cash only for those buying tickets and those holding tickets purchased in advance (look for the express lane if you have purchased your tickets in advance). Gate 2 is the Will Call gate or Credit Card tickets sales. Gate 3 provides entry only for those holding or picking up event credentials at Registration. Cash only ticket sales are available at Gate 6 (North Gate), located northeast of the track off of Texter Road. Campers in the Carousel and North Woods should use this entrance/exit.
All non-infield parking is free in the general parking area.
A limited number of infield parking passes are available for The Honda Indy® 200 and The Mid-Ohio Challenge, NASCAR Xfinity Series. The pass guarantees convenient parking in the infield for the entire event weekend. Infield parking passes are available in a limited quantity and require the purchase of a spectator ticket. Infield parking passes are not required for motorcycles.
