IMSA’s flagship series competes at 12 of North America’s leading sports car venues, including Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, Long Beach and Road America. Competition takes place in three different classes at Mid-Ohio (Daytona Prototype International, GT Daytona and Le Mans Prototype 3) culminating in a 2-hour, 40-minute race with action in all three classes typically going all the way to the checkered flag.

From the showroom to the speedway, the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge is IMSA’s showcase for the latest in American-made and imported high performance sports cars, coupes and sedans straight from the dealer showroom floor. With modifications permitted only in the area of safety and competition, the Michelin Pilot Challenge is home to the same cars seen on streets and highways around the world every day. Racing takes place in two classes - Grand Sport (GS) and Touring Car (TCR) - culminating in a 2-hour race. This series running a 10-race season schedule in tandem with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich® Tires is the signature spec series for Mazda Motorsports. Mazda-powered grassroots champions can earn a Mazda scholarship to compete in the series. The Mazda MX-5 Cup champion earns a $250,000 scholarship.

IMSA Prototype Challenge enters its 16th season of competition in 2021. The series provides thrilling action and grooms drivers for future Prototype competition in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Racing is divided between the LMP3 Le Mans Prototype P3-1 class and the LMP3 Le Mans Prototype P3-2 class. The series will continue to feature the global-spec LMP3 prototypes. The endurance format pairs two-drivers per car in a six race season.
