Camping Map and Measurements
Mid-Ohio staff may relocate you if your camping unit will not fit in the campsite size or if a spot is deemed unusable due to ground/weather conditions.
Tent and RV Camping Rules
- Camping passes must be displayed on the campsite(s) at all times.
- Two (2) weekend tickets are included with the purchase of a camping package. Weekend tickets or Season Race Passes are required for all spectators planning to camp during an event.
- Camping spaces are defined and numbered measuring approximately 1000 square feet, with variations of width & length.
- No more than three camping units are allowed in each camping space. This may consist of one self-contained camping unit and two portable units or three portable units. Portable units are defined as a tent, vehicle, popup, etc.
- All camping units must be at least 5 feet apart.
- One personal vehicle is allowed per site. This is considered as one portable unit (mentioned above). Additional automobile parking will be restricted to the general admission spectator parking area. In order to limit traffic and remain in compliance, we recommend that you come and go on foot as much as possible.
- If your camping unit or set-up is larger than the camping space size, you will be required to purchase an additional camping space or relocate. Do not extend into the roadway or adjacent spots.
- If you have a self-contained camper, you must purchase a motorhome/RV pass whether camping in the general camping or reserved areas.
- All reserved camping spaces must have a self-contained motorhome/RVs unit (i.e. have plumbing or fixtures within the vehicle for running water, holding tanks and sanitary plumbing).
- Reserved camping spaces are located in designated areas throughout the facility. You will be asked to move if you are camping in a reserved spot that has not been assigned to you.
- All motorhome/RVs within the reserved sites should be centered on the camping spot designation number. Some spots are marked as head-in only and cannot be parked parallel.
- All non-reserved camping spaces are located in the general campground and will be offered on a first-come, first serve basis.
- Family camping is located in the front section of the general campground.
- Camping is only allowed in designated sites. There is no camping in the infield or parking lot areas.
- Tents must remain within the campsite areas. Tents may not be tied down to spectator fences or placed in areas which block free access to spectator viewing. No tents may be erected on spectator amphitheater viewing mounds.
- To preserve Mid-Ohio’s family atmosphere, management has the right to remove anyone for profanity and drunkenness deemed disruptive.
- Quiet hours will be enforced between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Generators are allowed, however may be asked to be shut down during the night if too loud.
- Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course reserves the right to inspect all tents and motorhomes/RVs at any time during the event.
