LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 8, 2025) – Rookie Ethan Goulart (No. 29 Saito Motorsports Group) put on a rain racing master class at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for Round Eight of the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin on Sunday. A three-wide pass on the final lap gave the 16-year-old his first race win in the series. LEXINGTON, Ohio – Diabolical conditions greeted the USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire field this morning, but Liam Loiacono was up for the challenge as he splashed to a fine maiden victory in the second leg of the PFC Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio. Jeremy Fletcher (No. 22 McCumbee McAleer Racing) fought his way through the top five to take his first win of the season. LEXINGTON, Ohio – Florida-based Brazilian Joao Vergara scored his second USF Juniors Presented by Continental Tire victory of the year this afternoon with a fine performance in the first of two races that comprise the PFC Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio.

Vergara held off a concerted attack from VRD Racing teammate Oliver Wheldon, from St. Petersburg, Fla., during the first half of the all-green 20-lap race around the challenging 2.258-mile Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. He then edged clear to claim his first win since the opening round at NOLA Motorsports Park in April.
